Invitation to the people of Corca Dhuibhne to sponsor a tree in Díseart Family Tree garden.
The generosity of the Presentation Sisters has placed the gardens of the former convent in trust with the Board of Díseart to be available as a recreational, spiritual, artistic, and cultural facility, to the people of Corca Dhuibhne. The Board has decided to develop the top garden as a Family Tree Garden. I invite the people of the four parishes: Dingle, Ballyferriter, Castlegregory and Annascaul and others who may have roots in the area, to come and take their share of this garden. You may do so by sponsoring a tree, which you plant or have planted, with an accompanying plaque, with family names as advised, laid firmly beside it. The public planting day will be 3rd March. Plaques will be laid on a later date.
